I've been trying to keep up with the crafting, my eternity crochet prject is still on the go, but I get bored with too much of repetition, so do other stuff at the same time....
I had some bits that I bought from Primark sale rack (god I love the sale racks), but never been using them, so I gave them a little change so this time I might use them....
First was a Guns'n Roses body, which I like, but just don't like the idea of opening press buttons in a sweaty crotch, so I decided to marry it with a skirt I've had in the cupboard for ages, so a bit of chop chop, and result.
The other one was a top I grabbed, and noticed it was a bit small, it fits though, but it's short, so I added a little fabric to make it into a nice summer dress, BAM!
This one is cheap polyester knit that I made into a tunic, but never used it, so I took in from the sleeves, maybe with a different fit, I'll actually wear it....
This one is a knit dress I bought from a charity shop for 50p (them sale racks....) but as I'm not very beige, I had to add something to the dress, and the Karelian emroidery was perfect idea for the hem. I got the practice, and the dress got a little colour.
We have been watching Bill Nye the Science Guy, and I get fanny flutter, he is hot!
that's about it for now, it has been relatively good weather wise, so have been taking every chance for going outside, and will post some pics of our trip to Cruden Bay last week....
But for now, ta ta bitches.

It's done
Well that's yet another chrimbo done and dusted. Next year I won't be cooking, it's gonna be take away all the way. I do love the traditional Finn foods in yuletide, but it's hard work, and this year had 8 mouths to feed too....
I just remembered, don't think I've ever posted a pic of the bureau I painted up for lil'un.
Didn't take a pic with all the knobs back in place, but one day will make a lot better version, as the paints on this one were fucking awful.-von bitch

Passion for rags....
Right, this still isn't a fashion blog. I'm not into fashion, nor do I follow it. I buy shit that I like the look of, if I can afford it. You won't catch me paying 200 quid for a fucking t-shirt though....
My passion is clothes. They are a form of self expression, and using colours and patterns to reflect and lift my mood. I love the slightly camp and the tacky, hawaiian and tropical prints are always go, leopard never fades either!
I trawl through second hand markets, charity shops and boot sales and buy pretty things. Optimally my home would have lots of storage space, and a room for crafts. At the moment it has neither of them, so it looks horrendous.
This time, I have a pile of pics of bargain finds, and also my sewing frenzy I had last week....
Here we go....
Some skirts a whipped up for le child from scraps.
Two of the same skirt, the other one got a new home in another girls wardrobe.
My fashionable assistant
I bought some tropical fabric and made it into a dress for warm weather..
This was originally a full dress, and fucking tiny, so I bought it (2€), cut it up ....
and added a stretchy panel to accommodate my ass.
Primark find, rarely I pay full price, but this just couldn't be passed....
My anti-depressant bag... Charity find £3
Pretty summer frock with embroidery and sequins £1..
Lovely duvet cover, I think it would make a nice skirt or trousers if I don't use it as bedding....
Got a pencil skirt, was too tight for my buttocks, so made little sidepanels from another skirt...
T-shirt that was small enough to fit my kid, butchered and added another tee to bring length...
Same with this one, pink fabric was bought years ago, never got around making it into anything...
Cute details... :)
That's it for now. More to come soon...

Go Green!
Here's a few snaps from years ago, when I worked as a project manager for a recycling centre...
Here's a set of clothing that has been revamped from old mens shirts, and mask was made from broken jeans. The bolero piece got some attention and I has people trying to buy it, but I wanted to keep the piece as a sample. Model needs to be a bit chubbier to have the clothes look nice.
Little pouch I made from old zip, fabric scrap and a cool 80's tape.
And that's what happened to the tape....
Love getting my craft on. Double the fun when you can't afford fuck all, and need to use up old or recycled materials.
that's all folks....
