Pimpin up a hoodie...

I've had this hoodie for ages, bought it from a bootsale for a quid, and I still love it. Unfortunately it started to have little holes, and general signs of wear, so I thought to freshen it up with some fabric scraps I had in a pile......

I also threw it in a dye bath, not very good colour, but it gives a nice surface for the fabric patches. I put some glitter glue to the edges to keep them from fraying like bitches, and I embroidered the edges, to make a little extra effect.

Quick crafts....

I have been crafting, can't seem to stick to one thing though, so a bit random.... I have also been watching Geordie Shore. I'm still not sure why. I think it's so shit, that it becomes good. Similar to VH1 shows few years back, Rock of Love and Flavor of Love. Seriously. Those were definitely some of the best reality shows I have watched, as they are full of unbelievably psychotic loonies.
I've kept myself out of political discussions too, as I cannot fathom how people can't accept the concept of freedom of thought. I don't agree with a lot of things with the majority of people, but I just blame it on their stupidity ;) , but I let them think what they want. It is their opinions. Opinions are like assholes, everybodys got one.
A cheap shirt got a little DDLM- makeover....

Made a kimonosleeve tunic from stretch satin
Fixed a new zipper to my bargain vintage dress, 2 euros it cost me....
Anglerfish hama...
 Brain slug hama
Dr. Zoidberg...

Went to a techfest in the Oceanlab here, it was very good, deep sea creatures are more fascinating than people. Now I have a terrible urge to try make an anglerfish hat for myself. It's my poweranimal, you can keep your eagles and wolves :D
Back to more crafting......

It ain't over 'til the fat man resigns

It's done, the referendum, and people are still at each others throats.
Can't people just lose/ win with dignity, respect the others right to have a different view, and just continue with their own lives....
As I'm fed up with the BS, here's surprisingly enough more fucking pictures......

It's been like this for 4 days now. Nice.....
Light up some candles to bring a bit of warmth...
 Spiderwebs EVERYWHERE!
Some fabrics I dyed years ago....

Some stencilling from the other day...
 Rocking my SOA shirt
 Humidity a bit high.....

Exhibition and boob clouds.

So. Went to the art gallery to see the Kaffe Fassett exhibition. I've seen his designs on crafty mags I used to subscribe, and I love his fabrics, so the exhibition wasn't to be missed. It was lovely. All the colours, especially today when the morning sun turned into a fucking rain....
Also now I know that if I want to have a chav free moment, the art gallery has no chavs hanging about, so will have to visit soon again...I managed to get a "new" camera too, so been playing with it. I used to have a very old Konica Minolta digicamera, but it was good for pic quality, so decided to try my luck on a certain bidding site for a slight upgrade, and got one for about 20 notes.
It's a long way from the posh expensive cameras that every selfserving hipster dick and blogger has to take pictures of their daily style pics of shit that every other fucker buys from the local H&M.....
Let's crack on shall we.....
New camera takes nice crisp images of a very crisp hound....
There has been art project dolphins scattered about for charity, now they were all in one place
so people can see them all before they are auctioned off.
Some local lingo on this one....
 More cam play
 .....macro works too....

 Knitted dolphin, brilliant!
Kaffe Fassett exhib, I just looooooove the colours....
If I just grab this and walk away, nobody will notice, yeah......
 I want this jumper!
Was a really good exhib to see!
Some boob clouds. Officially known as mammatus clouds...Look a bit creepy!

craft fail

Tuesday is the new Monday. First cutting patterns, and it didn't feel right....
Cutting fabrics, I was starting to doubt whether the fabric isn't sturdy enogh for my project...
Well FUCK ME, my gut instinct was right. first I was putting the pieces together, while watching the OZ, and the bloody scart went funny, so turned it off. Crafting without OZ just isn't the same. Then I get trouble from the overlocker....Finally putting the last seam together, and I notice a huge chunk of fabric from the back has been caught under the presser foot, thus sewn in. That's when I decided to step away from the fail, and do something else. Tomorrow, fire up the OZ, coffee and see if I can fix the grand screw ups somehow.......Fuckety fucking fuck.
