Shot in the dark

More randomness, I have different craft things in the midst of making, so nothing to show yet. I ordered more fabrics. I'm not sure why, as I have two different fabrics to make into something. I'm also crocheting a scarf with skulls, made little fabric pieces from scraps, and now trying to think what to make of them. I also have a hoodie that I'm pimping up, as it had little holes, but didn't want to throw away, as I like the long lenght of it. So yeah, crafting ADD there again.;.....
Here's some bargains and a little gift to myself before the hols....
 It's an angler fish.... :)
300 fucking dollars. Some was invested towards a pair of converse that my friend brought from the US
Fabric baskets, original price 24,95€, bought for 4.
Le childs new schoolbag. Pippi Longstocking all the way!!
Le child spotted a kittydress for a fiver....
Hoodie in the making, lots of embroidery to do...
As grapes are not sugary enough, they thought of even more sweerer ones.....
Marimekko tunic, bought from a second hand market for 4€

El Naturalista clogs from second hand market, 8 €. A lot of money for used shoes, but to be honest, they are so comfy that I'm not too sad with the money spent....
Something for the table too, love the colours, I miss Indiska shops....

A short rant....

This has been bugging me in the back of my head, so thought I'll just burp it out....
When we we're flying back, our second flight started to approach the airport, there was a child sat behind us that threw such a strop about getting a seatbelt on, that I felt a great urge to punch the useless "mother" in the face. This woman just sat there, doing the oh-my-poor-darling bullshit while her little bastard darling was hunched under the flipping seat. Pick your brat up, tell it to behave and get the fucking seatbelt on. These same people would be the first ones there to sue airlines and claim money for their "injuries" when little arsefruits can't be controlled. The child wasn't a baby, there was a level of comprehension. I have travelled with my kid, even when she was smaller, and she has only once tried to throw a temper  tantrum, and I told her we ain't landing if she doesn't quit it.
Parenting skills are truly in the brink of extinction.
And no, I don't get the "but they are just kids" BS either. Kid or not, you need to  be able to behave in public, especially when confined in a flying tin can with people who might not be too keen on your fruit of the loin. I loaded my bag with snacks, magazines and some pens, so there is absolutely no excuse to misbehave.
I get people complimenting me how well behaved my daughter is. That is the difference.
People need to learn to raise their kids. Anyone can crap them out, but getting them into adulthood with manners and common sense, there is something to achieve.....

 Leaving Finland
Back home to this at least....
And this...........

Lovely holiday. I missed the dog greatly, but otherwise it was fantastic. The only thing that got me rather miffed is that plonking SAS had gone and stopped the connection between Turku and Copenhagen. Bunch of twats. Last thing I want to do is drag fucking 40 kilos of luggage and a child to another fucking city, and another airport. When I searched for other connections from Turku to Aberdeen, SAS was offering flights to Stockholm, Bergen and then Aberdeen. No thanks.... A trip that is apprx 4 and a half hours would take me over 15 hours with possible over night stays..... How frigging convenient.... I did like the train though, great air con, free wi-fi and kiddie play-area to keep the little oiks entertained for a while, good way to travel if I have to.... Service to the airport was a bit crap, busdriver was like a bear shot in the arse, and brim full of folk, which half didn't go to the airport anyway......But we got there, and I had a natter with a very very handsome man from Zurich. If I didn't have the child in tow....... :)
That's about it, back to the norm and crappy weather, at least I can crack on with my crafting, have missed my crafty shit...
