beach bodies...

Seriously. People come in different sizes, howcome is it so hard to understand.
Seeing "feminists" posting about how terrible the world is and then next post is them putting a pic of a lady with a big belly, and then laughing at it...yeah. I have a big ass, and I fucking love it.
Not gonna rant anymore, as I have given up on the human kind, most of them are fucking idiots. Okthxbye.

ramble on....

Ahhh, that time of the year, where I embrace my home sickness even more so. The springtime and the promise of summer fun, and I am in the wrong country. Both places have their pros and cons, but as I get older, the more I appreciate the things I got to grow up with.
And the fact that outdoor living isn't much of a thing here. When it gets sunny and warm (that happens very rarely) the only thing that you see, is windows open and music blaring out. No people walking or kids playing outside. There'll be pandemonium of people at the beach tho, as it's normal to see kids in their bikinis in March when you get the first sunny and warmish day, because they know, it doesnt happen that often...Hah!

I want to go home. To the country. Near a lake. I want a sauna. I want my friggin' ryebread and all the other goods I miss.
I want salmiakki, I want to go swimming in the lakes and the sea without the fear of finding myself in bloody Norway or dying of hypothermia.

Go Green!

Here's a few snaps from years ago, when I worked as a project manager for a recycling centre...
Here's a set of clothing that has been revamped from old mens shirts, and mask was made from broken jeans. The bolero piece got some attention and  I has people trying to buy it, but I wanted to keep the piece as a sample. Model needs to be a bit chubbier to have the clothes look nice.

Little pouch I made from old zip, fabric scrap and a cool 80's tape.
And that's what happened to the tape....

Love getting my craft on. Double  the fun when you can't afford fuck all, and need to use up old or recycled materials.

that's all folks....

Old cartoons...

Now that I've had an excuse to watch cartoons with my mini-me, I have to say, the old ones are still better.
My modern favourites are Spongebob Squarepants, Adventure Time and Almost Naked Animals.
But there is still magic in the good old mole, Krtek in Czech.
Love love love. I would love to buy krtek stuff for my daughter, and myself, but they are a bit dear...

Then there's the list of 80's-90's cartoons, that still are superior to the majority of poop that is fed to kiddos these days.
I love Rainbow Brite, for all the innocence and colours...
The proper old school  My Little Pony
I love the vintage ones, they also have the innocent, child-like soft looks, that make them a lot more sweeter than the new version. I don't like the way everything is made to look the same in new cartoons.

Dr. Snuggles. Shows nowadays ain't got shit on imagination........
Altho I'd say Adventure Time comes as a good second on the line.

I miss The Snorks, the underwater version of The Smurfs...
Not to miss out on the old time greats like Dastardly and Muttley, The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Speedy Gonzales,
Roadrunner, Maya the Bee,
Taotao
and heaps more....
90's had the cheesy greats like Captain Planet, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Casper the Friendly Ghost
Ren and Stimpy, Moomins, etc...
Oh those were the days...
Anyhoo, I shall stick on some cartoons and get crafting.

See you later, alligator!

Finally....stencil pics

So, after weeks, I finally remembered to take pics of my prints so far. I have heaps and heaps of stencils, as I've been cutting stencils since I was 14...These are just some stuff I have googled, or used a photo and then the paint.net stencil addition. Prints have been just made by hand, and on leggings and tops. I do have a screen too, but tend not to use it for just one pic. It is a hassle to keep clean etc...Any questions or tips, just ask...

This is just from the last few weeks.
I have been doing some dia de los muertos-stuff, skulls, writing etc...I had a pair of leggings with V for Vendetta- prints.

More when I get pics taken and new stencils...

Beach

Just a few pics. Sunny but relatively rough seas.

Proof, that there is sunshine. Occasionally.

the child in me....

This is the result when I get my glue out....

It's not the best of decoden, but whenever I do stuff, I do it for the fun of the process, not the result....

It's stormy outside, we had a brief moment of warm spring weather, but it doesn't last in this city....
Although it is perfect opportunity to crack out all the half-done projects.
Nothing else worth reporting.

Adventure time...

We went on a little adventure to Inverness last week. It was a nice little city, and lots of little shops to visit, and just walking about was invigorating enough. Next time will have to check out the actual sights...

If  I had a heap of pennies, I'd go spend it in this place. Lots of colourful trinkets n stuff, sugar skulls and clothing. Lil' un  got a Maneki Neko from there. I want the bigger one next time I'm around....
Worth checking out, Far-Fetched, and all the little charity shops...

The river banks are lovely just for walks, and we got very lucky with a nice relatively warm-ish weather.
That's about it. Will photospam soon with more random crap.

alistofverydirtycurses

I'm starting to get a bit bored of this one-after-another lurgy/cough/cold. Can folk just stop spreading the germs. If you're sick, stay at home.
The minis got a nasty cough, just as she was "ok" for abit, after having chicken pox.
We eat industrial strength d3-vitamin, and been adding c-vitamin and zinc now that it has been non stop plagues.
Yet nothing.
At least had a lovely guest over, so that cheered us up.
Now rest, as I am flippin knackered, and I can sense that I'll be sorting out cough mccoughinton through the night. Sigh.
